This presentation focused on the issues and implementation of Healthcare Reform that affect Pharmacy Benefits, out to the year 2012. Specific topics addressed and included, but not be limited to:
- What are the new drivers to quality and utilization? How will they impact pharmacy benefits?
- What are the changes that affect Medicare Part D?
- What are the audit issues that Plans need to be aware of with PPACA directives for 2011 and beyond?
- What are the changes that implicate or “bleed over” to Commercial benefits?
- How does the cost-effectiveness directive affect formularies, benefits, step therapy, and other Plan designs
